The last rebel sized body to use cf was the xti/400DĬurrent bodies are the 5D2 - 7D and 1 slot on a 1series. Well your going to be disappointed by many body choices then. That sounds like a great idea, until I noticed the 500D and 550D don't use CF cards, which at this point I have quite a few of. The 500d is about 450 now at many stores.
Now with magic lantern installed on the 500d I could hardly be happier. I rarely use the 20d nowadays, except as a backup. I bought a 500d alongside my 20d and it always felt like an upgrade. Is there any magic lantern version suitable for 1D markIV ?

I think there are two chances Magic Lantern will be developed for the 20D. Is there a place to write to ask for the option, or maybe I should say someone to ask? Other than the tiny LCD display, I find I really have no reason to upgrade, but that Magic Lantern option sure would be nice to have. Then again I could wait for better brackets built into the Canon cameras, or should I say the less expensive cameras. I know its a stretch, but do you think it may ever happen? Its either that or $300 for the Promote control.
